Platinum Motors and Platinum End announced a deal Monday to open a new dealership in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The deal will allow the company to expand its presence in the Los Angles area and provide a more sustainable and competitive retail model for its vehicles, the Times reported, citing sources familiar with the deal.
In December, Platinum announced it would open a factory in the central California city of Glendale, which it plans to turn into a premium auto dealership.
The company had already expanded its presence into Los Angeles by buying a major stake in a major auto-repair shop chain.
The acquisition of Glendora-based Platinum Motors has been in the works for a few years and was announced by the two companies in December 2016.
The new location will be located at the corner of Glade Boulevard and Lake Avenue, according to the Times.
